This semester's module focuses on creating an environment that engages with the community through understanding of space planning, not forgetting sustainability in design. We started the module with a project that surrounds the understanding of children community, by designing a playscape. It helps us to capture how architecture is applicable in shaping the community. The following project is to design a recycling centre, further exploring how design can encapsulates the natural environment, social interactions, and the proposed activities within the community. We began by carrying out site analysis in order to have a better grasps of the community in Taman Desa. Using the information acquired, we further developed the fusion of the analysis and our concepts into actualizing the design.

REFLECTION
This module in particular made me push boundaries. There was an reoccurring thought throughout the process of working, which I kept reminding myself to push more, do more and execute it. I managed to explore and attempt new ways in approaching design and also the way of presenting my work in terms of visual. I started to really looked into the importance of precedent studies and learn from various work. I would summarize my semester by saying how important it was to be fearless when it comes to exploration and be persistent with the initial designs and ideas I had, to develop an idea but not taking away its potential. The fear of trying something new, being afraid of being 'too ambitious' and staying in my comfort zone has always been an obstacle for me. Regardless the outcome, this module covers a bigger scope, which juggles around the relationship between the environment and the community. It has made an important impact to how I approach in my design process and it became a reminder for myself to balance between possibilities, development in design and regularity.
