PROJECT1:

Famous People, Familiar Faces- Diagrammatic Abstraction

In the first project, we were divided into a group of 6, and each respective group was given an architect and one of their buildings. The task is to understand our architect's style, intentions, and not forgetting the purpose and background of the building. From our understanding, we had to then derive the main ideas of the building by using diagrammatic forms to reflect those ideas. It allows us to interpret and analyze the building in a more in depth manner, eventually understanding the relationship between the architect's style and the fulfillment of the user's needs in coming out with a design.
