CHAM ZHENG CHEE

In the final project, our scope of design revolves around an urban infill, to design a community library. One of the issues that was identified on site was the existence of parallel community, between the primary roads that bring access into the town, and also the back lanes that are hidden from the public eye. I've decided to take this opportunity to create a community library that becomes the community's convergence point, allowing both of these parallel community's lives interweave with one another, creating a common place in town for them to share their lives and eventually establishing the sense of place, the identity of Klang through the vibrancy of it's local lifestyle.
