Classification of Building Materials

In the first project, we started off with the basics by learning how to classify different kinds of building material. We were given the freedom to choose any building (international/local) provided the building uses at least 4 different kinds of building material. We had to identify the building materials and also the properties of the specific building material that was able to contribute to the design and functionality of the building. For our group, we've selected the Round Tower which is located in the United Kingdom. The material that was used in the building was glass, stones and concrete. The pictures below are the process and final outcome of our work:
