PROJECT 1:
Skeletal Construction (Temporary Bus Shelter)
|| The Brief
In Project 1, we had to form into a group of 6. The objective is to design a temporary bus shelter. We had to design a bus shelter which has an innovative design, without neglecting its functionality and practicality. The understanding of skeletal construction and its construction detail is important in guiding us through the whole process of construction.

We started off by developing our design and come to an uniform agreement.The jobs were then delegated into parts, which every member was involved. We divided the research process into three components such as the roof, the superstructure (wall, floor, columns), and the foundation in order to have a thorough understanding of each part.
When we proceeded to the construction process, design was affected as each material, and method of construction has to complement its purpose. The final outcome was the influence of the knowledge of construction and also the innovation in design.
